South Asian stars in world cinema are celebrating a double win as two of its brightest stars, Indian actress Alia Bhatt and British-Indian actor Dev Patel, have secured a coveted spot on Time journal’s prestigious “100 Most Influential Individuals of 2024” record. This recognition highlights the worldwide influence of Indian actors and the immense expertise they carry to the world stage.
