Anurag Kashyap not too long ago shared his admiration for Sandeep Reddy Vanga and his 2023 movie, Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor. In a dialog on his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap’s podcast, Younger, Dumb & Anxious, he addressed his help for the movie, which has been each celebrated and criticized. Aaliyah expressed her disappointment, calling Animal a ‘horrible’ and ‘misogynistic’ movie, to which Anurag responded with a nuanced perspective.

Kashyap defined his appreciation for Vanga after a protracted dialog with the filmmaker. “I met him (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) and I preferred him. I just like the man.
